Wow, I didn't know Nena had a stick player in her band! The Stick seemed quite popular in synth-pop during the eighties.

Avalon, a thrash/prog metal band from Germany, has some Chapman Stick parts disseminated sometimes, like the intro of that tune

Blaine Reininger, musician in the 80's alternative band Tuxxedomoon, did some solo albums, in which he played with Alain Goutier on bass and Stick. Love that album, with that David Bowie flavour. But couldn't find some live extracts.

Again, couldn't find any live video of that band : Laundry, with Tim Alexander from Primus on drums. Ian Varriale on Stick does a great job!

That's more like it "It's Stick All Over The World". My head is gonna explode. Michael Urbaniak's Fusion gots some Awesome Emmett! Thank you I hafta make 80's sounds now. And Henry Cow/Fred Frith-type thingys.
