Hi Jim, Congrats on your new Stick! I was able to find some photos of Leo Gosselin playing a tarara instrument on his website - http://www.leogosselin.com/photos.htmlTake care, Paul

Re: Beginner Choices...
Thank you so much! I have worked with Tarara in the past, but the Stick on the SE website seemed much lighter in color than what I had used. I'm really looking forward to getting it!

Re: Beginner Choices...
G'Day Stickists.
Go the 12 string Grand...! For me the one good reason is the lower range on the melody side.
I am very happy with my 10 Graphite, but I do love to play melody on the lower side of things. I may go baritone melody one day like Greg says, however I can't justify loosing the top range either.
The 12 will take care of that for any prospective new Stickists and like everyone has been saying, you won't know the difference regarding spacing on a new instrument, because you have'nt played a Stick before. What you might perceive as close spacing, will become an ally in your playing, further down the track.

Re: Beginner Choices...
Well after missing UPS twice, I went to pick up my Tarara Grand Stick last night! What a gorgeous instrument. The wood is this beautiful caramel color with wonderful grain accents. I purchased it from a student of Steve Adelson, and knew what I was getting but was still surprised to find it had The Block pickup! I'll be getting an amp for it this week, but in the mean time I will be practicing with some headphones coming out of my GT-10.
Unfortunately the belt hook snapped where the allen screws hook into it, but I was able to somewhat fix it. SE has a new one on the way for me.
I will post pictures at some point this week. Thanks for all of the advice guys!
