Someday, when I learn how to make music instead of making noise. Finding the notes on the fretboard and mapping my fingers to them, is fun enough for me right now. Hopefully it'll come together soon. I feel it coming. Every once in awhile I get those aha moments. I just have to focus now. I think I know enough about the instrument that I should be able to arrange something soon.

Oh I think you are doing fine - it takes time to learn this instrument. If you aren't taking lessons, I'd recommend taking some. I took about 11, they were really crucial in helping me realize a starting point towards a path conducive to actually moving forward with the Stick. So much potential with the Stick it's kind of a challenge to find a starting point I think. The instrument layout, dots, mindset/approach of different players and stuff like that were really crucial in helping me make informed decisions about what I want to do to realize my goals.

Now the forums are handy too, but it's easy to take things the wrong way. Anyways, keep posting I always listen.

Great Stuff , I really like my Alto . Your's looks like Tarrara wood which is what I originally wanted , but the wait was going to be huge. Just keep at it , its all worthwhile & I'd just tend to paraphrase what Scott said above .
