Post subject:  List of chords for the bass side

Hey Stick nation.

Does anyone have a link/chart/program that lists a comprehensive list of 3 to 4 note chords on the bass side of the stick? I've been away for a while and I'm learning how to replay all the stuff I've forgotten.

I have my own list here on a whiteboard but I'm sure there's a shit ton I don't know about and I'm trying to expand my vocabulary. Every chord I know I've stolen from David Tipton.....thx Dave!

Cheers'

Here is Greg’ Howard’s Chord Compendium which is available free on Stick.com in several tunings:

https://stick.com/method/resources/chords/

Also Chris Crain previously had his Sticktionary, but it’s not on archive.org nor does Google find it anywhere:

sticktionary filetype:pdf

However Scribd.com does have some of Chris’ materials:

I have Chris Crain's books.
- Sticktionary
- PolyChords
- eLessons

I've noticed that theCipher.com is gone as well.
It seems that many internet resources are disappearing.
Luckily this one is still here. http://sticklessons.com/lessons.html

Before Chris shut down his website, he offered these books for free.

There's a 10MB file size limit on this forum. Here's Polychords.

I was the editor for Chris's Sticktionary book. It is quite comprehensive. There seems to be another book called "Stickology....." that addresses bass harmonic possibilities.

If anyone wants The Sticktionary, I've put it on my google drive here:

I can add the Polychords book and the StickeLessons material too if there's any call for them.

Just to add…

There’s also some left-hand chord info at the start of this video by Greg:

Previously he made a one-page PDF of chords, but I can’t find that any more.

I have several of Greg's one or two page tutorials.
Most of them have been printed out on 11" X 17" paper.

When I find the original PDF files, I will upload them.
Here's one of these tutorials called Modes made Easy

If you want to go really deep into music theory.
Check out these books. https://cochranemusic.com/node/106

stick.com has a set of chord compendium diagrams for various tunings done by Greg Howard that are thorough, but still easy to reference.

i would check those out first. as everything Greg did, they are of high quality
