No clue but it's very cool! First she used a fairly old Stick, (sounded good BTW) it's cool she used it as a bass replacement in a jazz band and at the risk of sounding sexist, it's very cool she is a she, and an attractive she at that! It's rare to see a female bass player and even more rare to see a female Stick player. (Yes they are among us, even on this forum but seems most bass and Stick players are male) And IMO that article about how uncool the Stick is and all the greasy ponytail nerd players just got blown out of the water. Thanks for sharing and if anyone knows who she is, ask her to join the forum and say hi! |

According to the page her name is Devika Evsikova. I also noted that one of the comments is Belorussian. Video comments are English though so ... I dunno. |

From a quick google search, she seems to be studying in Riga, Latvia. She also plays bass, there are several videos in YouTube (there's also videos of opera singing, not sure if tis the same girl EDIT: it's her  Multi-talented, wow!). But the names of the players.... it definitely belongs to eastern Europe or even further east.
