My Skype student Mark Fillapone lives in Peoria AZ I often pass through, and visit or gig in Sedona. Cory is somewhere in AZ. Mike Kollwitz is also in Sedona Have you visited the Stick exhibit at MIM in Scottsdale? All the best Steve Adelson |

Hey! Stick player here in Peoria, AZ! Gilbert is about an hour south from me. I also recommend taking stick lessons. I've been taking lessons from Steve (Lee Vatip) for a few years via Skype. I also took lessons from Greg Howard. To get off to the right start, take some lessons. I wasn't fooling regarding the 12-string railboard. They are now available for order. I started out on a 10-string, then got the urge for two more strings, traded in my 10-string railboard. Mark Filippone |

Ken, I forgot to mention that I belong to Josh's (Afro Circus) Patreon service. It is also a valuable source of stick material. Josh's videos are very detailed, and he has a sense of humor. For only a few dollars a month, it is worth being a member. |

All the best Steve Adelson Thanks Steve ..Well it was Mike Kollwitz that I recently met/talked with/watched him play at Tempe Festival of the Arts/and bought a couple of his CDs that rekindled my interested in the stick and was the tipping point for getting one and starting this journey. I work part time at the Phoenix Conservatory of Music that is in the MetroCenter Mall on Peoria Ave and I17. I teach guitar and audio production there. So I am in your neck of the valley from time to time. Once I get my stick and get orientated I may take a few skype lessons and maybe we can get together ... |
