State of The Stick
For all those who've been waiting to see moments we filmed for the Free Hands Academy in August, here is the first of a series.
THE STATE OF THE STICK
Hope you enjoy it.
It's a 1:35 minute film of the eight-person discussion with (in order of appearance) Gene Perry, who is hosting and featuring Greg Howard, Gary Jibilian, Steve Adelson, Emmett Chapman, Don Schiff, Dale Ladouceur and Bob Culbertson.
At the end we also see and hear from Diana Lang, as she is about to begin her specialized yoga session for Stickists, preparing all participants for STICKNIGHT 2014, later that night.

Great editing Dan. You have more patience than I. It's great to actually listen to what these people have to say without a camera in my hand, jockeying for position, dealing with all the back light, audio issues, worrying if I'm gonna run out of battery or memory.....

Exactly. Now we can listen to what they're saying. I've watched it many times.
We'll never technically overcome that damn air conditioner.

Thanks. I still need to look up Hippocampus. I'm really interested to see Dale's brainscans.

This video actually makes me glad that I did not attend the FHA: I would have hated being brain dead tired during that discussion. Thanks for sharing that experience, and thanks doubly for allowing me to enjoy it even more than I would have.

You're always welcome, Robstaman. But I'm not sure why you would have been so tired. Saturday was super invigorating. I did see some sleepy eyes in the crowd, but most were attentive and right there in the moment. Lots of laughs, especially during Steve and Don's segments.
A question. Are there dates set for Free Hands Academy 2015? Looks like I´ll be in the States next mid/late July/august/september. In Florida until 8th/9th of august and elsewhere after that. Gigs in august and september if things works out. In Michigan and other places. Don´t know yet since everything is not planned and booked yet. But we have some gig offers.

Thanks.
I don't think FHA 2015 is set in stone yet. Maybe Gene will comment here about that. It would really be great to finally meet you, Jan.
