An excellent evening getting to know one of our favorite Stickist's Jeremy Cubert! Jeremy is a NJ native that moved about in DC and last I checked was in Maryland. He's crazy good at keyboards, his first instrument (we need a fun term for someone's instrument before they came to the Stick), and he's an explorer with many others, not a single one of them is conventional. Zen Drum, Eigenharp, Linnstrument and of course, our fave, the Stick.
Jeremy had one of each! A 12 string grand, 10 string Railboard and a recently acquired NS. He showed us his bitchen amp setup, hopefully someone will chime in with models and special features as well as a quick walk through with LIne 6 Helix (he knows a guy over at Line 6, all good). Jeremy was such a good sport about sharing his time with us, answering questions and filling us in on all the wonderful music AND how he does it.
Boaz was up bright eyed and ready to talk tapping at what had to be 3am after which we were joined by Brett Bottomley, Dean Pascarella (which reminds me, I forgot to mention the Theremin) and Scott Kerr! It was nothing but fun and man did we ever go on...! This one clocked in at 1:48! So, plenty of Stick small talk and good cheer. Happy Free Hands Friday wherever you are in world!
