Just a note to congratulate Jim Meyer on a terrific performance, on many levels his best I've see and a real testament to thwat daily practicing and lots of gigging will do for your chops.

I started out on the stick by attending the Vancouver seminar. I had never seen one in person before then.

I would say that it is the best way to get into playing, at any level. Especially if you get to learn basic Freehands technique directly from Greg Howard

Seven seminars later and I'm still amazed by all the things I can't do or don't know.

This was a wonderful night of music. I've been to several Stick nights where there were like 10 players and each only gets to play a couple tunes but at this event there was just 2 of them and showcased the breadth of songs and styles.



No need for experience. If anything, these seminars will set you up so that you don't get into any bad habits. We had a guy who only touched a stick one time before the class! All levels are encouraged to attend.
