Pub gig, DBro style
Yesterday night I was hired to play from 7 to 10 pm on the terrace of the pub where I usually play the happy hour. I had to play three 45 minutes sets and I have to say it's quite... demanding (especially for the voice). DBro, you sure are a tough guy, doing this on a regular basis. The bose L1 compact delivered brilliant sound once again. I'm beginning to wonder how I could live without this fabulous little unit. Lovely summer atmosphere. Here's a picture shot while waiting to be taken home. Attachment: Cdc_june20.jpg PS: no power adapter issue this time.

It is wonderful to see how live music can be fit into tight spaces without crowding or using too many decibels. Nice!

Ah, yes, the three-set gig... Probably the best way to develop and maintain a solid repertoire. I did this for many years, probably over 1000 times.. A fun way to spend an evening for sure... Love hearing you sing, Olivier...

Re: Pub gig, DBro style
Builds character for sure. A great way to determine which songs in your set need more practice. Smile a lot.

Gene, you're definitely a challenging person. Playing, trying not to forget the lyrics, singing and now even SMILING!?

Re: Pub gig, DBro style
Thats great, its my whole focus right now, done some short single set stuff and then they want a whole 3 sets, which I dont have( yet). Whole different and distracting but fun world live, outside the perfect sound and comfort of my home studio,. Where its all easier.
