Just to be clear. I think that from this and your other post you're saying that you have that beam serial number plus another on the headstock? Do I have that correct?

I notice that your beam number looks a bit smaller that the current style? It also looks a bit as though it may have been stamped (or cut) through the anodised layer, whereas on the pictures I've seen of current numbers they seem to have been formed before the anodising process?

Yes, you have it correctly, my Railboard has two serial numbers on it.
There's a trick of the light that makes the beam number look lighter, and like it was applied after the anodizing. It wasn't. That lightness you're seeing is reflected light plus a little dust, before I cleaned it out.
Just FYI, my Railboard was made in 2014; it was part of either the 2nd or 3rd production run of Railboards. At that time, getting linear fret markers was a new option.
