Played through a pair of QSC 12"s last year when I opened a house concert for Jane Siberry, and they were very impressive. I think you'll enjoy it! Cheers, Andy |

SA! I've had my eye on those, you might have convinced me. Have you had any experience with the 4 series RCF speakers? |

Only tried this QSC and compared to Mackie, JBL. It can make you crazy but ya' gotta' make a choice and for now the QSC sounded great. I will use the speaker at a gig Thursday in a trio with Chieli Minucci. It sounded very impressive in the store and of course drrew a large crowd (consumers and sales staff) and they all voted for the QSC |

I would be very interested in how you feel they handle the bottom end. With the K-sub they would certainly sound good - but in the interest of portability it would be nice if they handled it ok on their own. (for small gigs - not concerts per se...) I have some Behringer B212A cabs that I've used for vocal monitors - and they work great at that. Played the Stick thru them and the mid and top end were fine - the bottom end was lacking though. To be expected considering what they are. I've thought about getting a small sub for them - but it would be better to just have two powered cabs that worked well. |

For some clarity, I am not a loud player at all. For larger venues, I rely on the house PA. For smallish clubs and such, this QSC should be fine. If needed, I can bring a seperate bass amp. The "guitar" side sounds very alive through this speaker. The bass side of the QSC can be tweaked with a mixer or eq box. Many variables. SA |

Little hard to tell first time around. Strange circumstances as well. I play this Saturday and will get a better idea of QSC performance. I hope you're safe from any Tsunamies |
