First one looks like a deal ... second one, without a truss rod, maybe not so. Pity a friend of mine just ordered his first Stick in the UK (after seeing mine, yes I captured a new soul for our community), this wouldve been easier for him esp. for import taxes

Since the UK left the EU, a Stick purchased from mainland Europe is now subject to the same import tax as is due on one bought from the US.

Both are subject to a 20% import tax.

The first has a truss rod, but it's unlikely to be an adjustable one.

It seems to be a 1987 Polycarbonate Stick, so unless modified it has a fixed truss rod. So in that respect both of the Sticks have no truss rod adjustment and only screw height for bridge adjustment.

Ah. I understamd now.

My 10 String Graphite came from mainland Europe & since it was after Brexit I had to pay the 20%. 18 months earllier that would not have been necessary.
