Nice! And...all of my specs, minus the string gauge. But close enough.

Info for you newbies that think 12 is the mature model over 10...

I've exclusively played 10-string for almost 30 years. Shifting up 5 frets to make a music passage work is not a big deal. The only time in my Stick playing life where I was "missing" one of those high notes on the melody side came up recently (Barber's Adagio...climatic section...I was ONE fret short). Solution: play the passage one octave lower and use a $150 octave pedal.

Do more with less...

That is a beauty.

Also more of a 10-string player myself. The spacing feels more natural and I'm able to make use of what is available.

I'm very much resonating with what's being said above. I've been playing a 10 string for a couple of months now and the big take away for me is that it's much easier for me to just look away from the fretboard and still find my way on the instrument.
The 10 string is also noticeably lighter (ofc more so since my 12 string is made of rosewood and 10 string is bamboo).
The one thing I do miss is the sound of those big power chords I got on a 12 string tuned with a high bass-4th, however in a 5 piece rock band I think I'm the only one really noticing that detail.

I emailed and called within five minutes of the instrument dropping a few days ago. Haven’t heard a word yet, not sure what’s going on there lol.

I think you may have latched onto the wrong topic? This instrument 'landed' back in August?

Maybe you were thinking of this post, earlier this week: https://www.stickist.com/viewtopic.php?p=143255#p143255

As to no reply. According to an automatic reply I received earlier this week (in connection with a different conversation) Jeff is out of the office from the 15th to the 22nd, so maybe that explains it?

My mistake, I didn’t notice the date of the post. I just assumed ‘new Stick without waiting time’ meant that one is available now at the same link. Thanks for the information—I thought there were salespersons etc.

As you probably now realise, instruments occassionally, and unpredictably, appear on that page. Typically it's because the person who ordered the instrument does not complete the deal when they are advised that it's been completed.

As you may also now realise, SE is a very small operation. If you order a Stick, the vast amount of work on it will be done by Grace. If you order a NS Stick, the vast amount of work on it will be done by Gary. If you contact SE about orders, admin or such like you'll almost certainly be talking to Jeff.

And if you had an order book that was consistently as full as theirs is would you be employing sales staff? :)

We all started where you are. We hope to live & learn. You now know more than you did. I hope you see that as a win? :)
