Re: Hello stickists, from the north of England
Andy rocks so very hard. I have 3 or 4 of his albums. Some of the best Stick stuff.

Nice to meet you, Dave, and welcome to Stickland. Rock it out!
Thank you! I'm impressed with your way with the stick btw. Really great stuff.
Hey, thanks, Dave! I'm thinking at first "Man, he has me confused for someone else more worthy!"
But with great taste!
I'm also a mediocre--yet enthusiastic--keyboard and guitar player. And a beginner Stickist still. But I've had some fun and success in getting it to rock out a bit, and write some songs. It's an incredible versatile and expressive instrument, with a very wide range. And thanks for noticing!
I can't wait to see what you can do with the Stick. And don't be afraid to show us progress along the way. We love to answer questions of all sorts, and Skype lessons with a number of excellent teachers here is a great help to many. It's a good format for learning the Stick, and a couple of Skype sessions can level you up pretty quickly.
You might also find that the Sticking makes you a better keyboard and guitar player! It will certainly make you a better person! (okay, that last bit is shameless pandering--albeit accurate). It will also make you cooler (hey, my Mom thinks I'm pretty cool with the Chappy Stick).
