Post Newest Southern Panhandle (Jazz Fusion/Progressive) Song
I realized this is probably in the wrong forum.

My band just recorded a new song Saturday. We just through a room mic up to capture it. Since we don't have a name for it yet I just call it "Untitled Tentatively".

Feedback is appreciated! I know I hit a couple wrong notes in there but what can you do.

Uuuhh, I very much liked that!
Smooth sailing all the way, nice work x)
Pity the sound is a bit muffled, but it's way better than anything I've tried in my rehearsals.

And it is indeed the right forum.

Thanks! We'll record it for real eventually. We were thinking a sax solo could be cool during the "dream sequence" as we call it.

The bit around 2:40 where the sax actually "threatens" to play once? ;P
I definitely see some room for it there.
Oh BTW, which bass are you using on it?

I'm using my 10 string Stickup equipped Stick. You can't hear the timbre of it too much due to the recording.

There's a phaser on during the dream sequence too if you can tell. It's relatively subtle.

Oh I see, the recording had me fooled then.
Nice tone anyway, makes me want to improve my chops!
