I'm not a user of the RC-50 but I thought this video from Randolph Arriola on guitar was nicely done:

RSS:http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qnrhTK0h9mQ
I particularly like the way he "shifts the 1" to a new spot with the percussives.
Looking forward to hearing and seeing Randolph play The Stick more.

Thanx for the kind approval and support Greg! It means alot to me coming from you. Basically what I do on the guitar is what I wish to expand upon and explore further with the Chapman Stick. Still woodshedding on the Stick based on those invaluable lessons I had with you in Virginia. It is indeed the left hand that I'm focusing on. Tanx Greg! Regards from Singapore Randolf Arriola

Nice video on the guitar. I enjoyed that quite a bit.
You might check out some Guillermo Cides videos on YouTube as well. He never ceases to amaze me with his music and his fire. I just found the one below today.

One of my all time favourite Stick videos. I watched this over and over before I got my Stick. Good to watch it again.

I maybe want to sell my Boss RC-50 loop station.

Randolf,
Your version of "With or Without You" was great!
I don't doubt you could perform songs like these in "real-time" with the Stick. Who knows what you will do looping the instrument. (my own food for thought...)
Take care,
Paul

Re: OK Superloopers - advice on what to get. Gas attack.
I used a Line 6 DL-4 for years as well, but I've upgraded to the M9. It's basically all the old Line 6 4-pedal stompbox modelers (DM-4, DL-4, FM-4, MM-4) plus a bunch of reverbs in one box, duct-taped to a dedicated looper. The looper has twice the sample time of the DL-4 (28 seconds or 56 in half-speed mode) and reverse and undo functions. I have not tried to sync it to MIDI clock but I believe there is something in the Advanced Manual about that. The nice thing is that you can control the looper from MIDI, so you can set up Live or another host to do some of the looping controls for you if you want. I built a little MIDI controller that lets me turn on the FX while leaving the M9's footswitches free for the looper functions.
The M13 does 4 FX at the same time (the M9 does only three,) and has a similar looper with dedicated buttons. It's more $$$ though, and was overkill for my needs.
Oh, and the M9 has stereo ins and outs. If you use a mono effect like most of the distortions or synths, it collapses the signal to mono. Since I tune to DBR I don't mind if I end up in mono since all my junk is bass anyhow, but for some of you cats who really use the stereo capabilities of your Stick you might want to look elsewhere (or buy two of them!)

Re: OK Superloopers - advice on what to get. Gas attack.
News from NAMM. New loop pedal that replaces the RC-20. The new RC-30. http://www.bossus.com/gear/productdetails.php?ProductId=1160 Looks very interesting indeed. Getting close to and in some aspects surpassing the RC-50. I like the smaller format of the RC-30. I might pick one up. //Jan
