NS Pick ups_sound possibilities
Hi Guys .
I know I'm harping on atm.
What might shut me up is a greater understanding of the possibilities of NS fretted and half fretless.
I've been checking different vids, but I think you need a dedicated FHF to discuss all possibilities , like meet the pick ups.
I can't believe you had Don Schiff on FHF and let him sneak off without playing the NS half fretless. Anyhoo, I feel I would no doubt get an NS one day, just like Gary J said, get one of each!
Cheers

Re: NS Pick ups_sound possibilities
I have always been curious how a "jazz bass" pickup would sound toward the bridge... Might be very interesting.

Great Idea!
I'm planning on visiting Don Schiff in the near future to do a NS/Stick channel interview. This is a great thing to ask about.

Re: NS Pick ups_sound possibilities
Sounds Great Dean!
I'm sure I'm not the only stickist who would also want to play NS and hasn't made the jump.
It's all about the bass orientation for me, preserving both the limitation of 2 handed bass on 10 string and what that limitation can inspire, and the want to play in typically bass way.
I think I need to set the beast free and get my own. Don Schiff's comments about having both and the way they compliment each other, really made me think seriously about owning both.
