In hearing of the passing of Jim Lampi I wanted to make a video thanking Jim for what he gave to the world and to me personally. Had it not been for Jim I might not be a Stick player today. It's crazy how we are all connected to each other.
RIP Jim.

Re: Kevin Keith - RIP Jim Lampi - Video
What a super, heart felt video Kevin. So well put.
This was so informative and I'm so glad to see this format for your videos Kevin. I didn't know that you and Jim were so close, thank you so much for sharing this - really helps to hear all of this. All the best to you Kev.
Nice tribute. Most dedicated Stick players can relate to your thoughts about support and inspiration. We are a very small community with a commonality that spiritually binds us and pushes us to creative pursuits. Jim was a really good guy. We taught together in California 2 decades ago and I presented him at the Long Beach NY Jazz Fest a few years later. A gentleman, a creative force, contributed much to the Chapman Stick legacy.. Jim Lampi will be missed.
See you in July

That was such a beautiful, heartfelt speech, Kevin. I'm so glad that Jim was a good person - and it really seems that you are too. In this time of darkness, we need as many good people as we can get.

Dear Kevin.
I’ve watched this a couple of times now. Paying it forward, that’s an expression I use a lot and it’s so vital and beautiful, the way you share your love and appreciation for Jim.
