Hello everyone,

In hearing of the passing of Jim Lampi I wanted to make a video thanking Jim for what he gave to the world and to me personally.
Had it not been for Jim I might not be a Stick player today. It's crazy how we are all connected to each other.

Nice tribute. Most dedicated Stick players can relate to your thoughts about support and inspiration. We are a very small community with a commonality that spiritually binds us and pushes us to creative pursuits. Jim was a really good guy. We taught together in California 2 decades ago and I presented him at the Long Beach NY Jazz Fest a few years later. A gentleman, a creative force, contributed much to the Chapman Stick legacy.. Jim Lampi will be missed.
