I finally bought a chapman stick
Where i live in Brazil it was very difficult to buy an actual Chapman Stick. The cost with the exchange rate is crazy! So, I had a luthier from Brazil build a stick for me.
So this instrument, im not sure what to call it without getting in trouble. If you would see this instrument, I looks and plays just like a chapman stick but it is NOT a chapman stick...So what would I call this instrument?
But now that I have an actual Chapman Stick. Im not sure what to do with this other instrument. Im looking at selling it and just keeping the Chapman stick..
Any advice?

Having a spare stick doppelganger might let you testing different exotic tunings, modify it just for fun, or play in a place where you would not risk taking an expensive original thing. Not sure if you really need that, though, just throwing in reasons to keep your custom instrument.

A 10 (or 12) string tapping instrument, inspired by the Chapman Stick? Sorry it's not short & snappy name. Maybe someone else can do better? Would you be willing to show us some pictures?
