I am looking for a TAGG interface so I can play my 12 string grand standing and so it can be ready when I am. I have the cymbal/snare stand already so just need the magic top part. I am in Phoenix, AZ, USA. thanks, Garth

Re: Wanted - TAGG Interface
I believe these aren’t in production anymore, but if anyone is looking to sell theirs, I would be interested as well.
My apologies. Replicating these TAGGs has been on my to do list. And one fine acquaintance from this site has sent me one to model. I haven't got to it yet due to other shop/work commitments, plus lack of a tool or two needed to make these proper...namely a drill press. Although I might fake it with a hand drill. I don't know yet.
If there's enough interest here, that might light a fire under me to get going within the next couple of months...

If you want a very portable option, the all metal drill guide looks pretty good. https://www.amazon.ca/Self-Centering-Ex ... 0C7QN2K18/ https://www.amazon.com/Multi-Angle-All- ... B0CHP2X316 21Dec2023 UPDATE: I got mine from Amazon today. It looks to be well made and well designed, but the spindle bearings are loose. They used a cylindrical needle bearing arrangement. I'm going to replace these bearings with some custom brass bushings made on my Taig micro-lathe. Other than the bearing issue, I'm very happy with the overall product.

Giving the guide its own chuck is an interesting alternative to needing to clamp the whole drill, as is usual with most solutions that don't have a built in drill.
