anyone know of any Massachusetts venues?
I am always happy to get back to mass. If anyone can recommend a club or restaurant where I could (perhaps) play a solo show I would be very grateful.

I'll poke my head around, Brett! I'd love to see that. BTW - how'd your gig on Friday go?

Re: anyone know of any Massachusetts venues?
Thanks Dan
The gig was great. New Have has developed a Great AVANT GARDE/Improv scene with the New Haven Improvisors collective.
My set was much more "inside" than the other sets but I will stretch at times. We are lucky to have a world class drummer at our disposal in Steve Ziminski . He played all 3 sets.
Dan where in Mass do you live? I'll poke around as well.

Hi Brett - A couple of weeks ago I saw Project/Object at a club called the Regatta Bar in Cambridge. Supposedly one of the more popular jazz clubs in Cambridge. I think the venue would be great for a solo performance.
Cheers
John

I'm in Waltham. One place I can think of off the top of my head is the Bluestone Bistro - it's a restaurant on the corner of Chiswick and Comm Ave. I used to live 3 buildings down from there. It's small, but it got pretty good traffic with lots of students in the area. http://www.bluestonebistro.com/- Dan

Re: anyone know of any Massachusetts venues?
yeah the regatta bar is way outa my league. I am working on a GREAT venue which I have a chance of playing again (thanks to Emmett, Yuta and Greg), if not there i hope to find a smaller venue.
but thanks John all suggestions are welcome.

Re: anyone know of any Massachusetts venues?
Yeah it's a smallish, low key place that has solo musicians on occasion.
