 what do you do for a living beside chapman stick was wondering - if you guys willing to share.. what do you do for a living (i guess most of us aren't lucky enough to play/teach the stick for a living) as for me: i work in "The Society for the Protection of Nature in Israel " as computer support / IT /system management - whatever you may call it. former sound engineer in Recording studio who does mainly dubbing cartoons to Hebrew share if you dare

This is the "PirateShip" Sometimes Captain, sometimes Chief Officer, We can fit it up do almost anything in offshore Oil & Gas construction, most of it subsea on the seabed, building new oil & gas fields. Looks cool? I prefer the stick, which always goes with me, but its a very good living which I have to acknowledge so in that sense I am lucky. ( The Drone does good work taking pics)

Re: what do you do for a living beside chapman stick Mechanical engineer. Mostly design and R&D, with the past 5 or so years mixing in a fair amount of design margin and test oversight.

Re: what do you do for a living beside chapman stick Once upon a time, I was a full time guitarist. I did that for about 15 years. Then I got into electrical and instrumentation, and now this summer I am a full time musician again. (when I play stick I just tell people it's my new custom bass so that they let me play in their group!)

Re: what do you do for a living beside chapman stick I practice Oriental Medicine, clinical hypnotherapy & Somatic Experiencing (treating trauma and PTSD). I also teach Qi Gong and Mindfulness Meditation...(all of this for the past 35 years!!). I feel blessed to be able to have founds something that I feel joyous and fulfilled by every day!.The Stick is icing on the cake!
